DTLA Public Library

I escaped the afternoon heat and ventured into the DTLA Public Library, located on Flower and 5th Street. This modern Public Library has been deemed a Historical Cultural Monument. The art and architecture alone celebrates all aspects of culture. Beautifully kept, the library was built in 1926 and is surrounded by the Maguire Gardens. I strolled through exhibits and spent the whole afternoon getting lost in the books. With tours going on daily and events every week, its no wonder this Public Library is a downtown treasure!

What I wore: a vintage floral dress, beige suede fringe ankle booties (nastygal), and forest green hat (lackofcolor.com).
