The Grand Central Market

Welcome to the legendary Grand Central Market! Located on Broadway and 3rd Street, it was the essential “it” spot in the 1920s  for locals to buy their groceries. This 30,000 sqft arcade is a DTLA historical landmark and it encompasses an endless variety of delicious food vendors, so I definitely wasn’t leaving empty handed. With so many vendors to choose from, I finally settled on the China Cafe. I ordered a seafood wonton soup and kung pao chicken….mmmm so goooood! As I strolled through the market, I was immediately drawn to the Butcher Shop. I purchased some fresh meat to cook later that night, which I have to say was the best I’ve ever had in my life! This local hot spot is the perfect gathering ground for the next generation of local businesses, so naturally I will be back for more!

What I wore: A matching red and purple knit, crop top and high waisted pencil skirt, my comfy metallic sneakers, and clear mirrored shades.
