If you haven’t checked out the Golden Gopher, then you should hit up this hot spot ASAP! It’s one of the oldest bars in DTLA, located at 417 W. Eighth Street. This luxe lounge provides an old school atmosphere, a jukebox for your music pleasure, pool tables, outdoor seating, and top shelf liquor “to go.” They received their liquor license in 1905, when Teddy Roosevelt was Commander-In-Chief, so they are “grandfathered in” with their license. Being that I was at the Golden Gopher, I saw it only fitting to rock a glamorous gold sequin dress, with gold rings, and classic pony-haired black heels.
