My personal “go to” for Sunday morning breakfast are the vegan donuts at the 5th street Farmers Market! Lamke Handcrafted vegan donuts are brioche style, freshly baked, and hard to put down! Owner and chef, Jon, has created an eclectic variety of delish donuts and every Sunday I see a new tasty flavor! I always end up with a couple of the raspberry glaze Homer Simpson donuts, which has a tart flavor with crunchy sprinkles, then I usually add few new ones into the mix. Grabbing a hot cup of coffee is a must, as it’s high in caffeine and low acidity, plus he makes his own organic creamer! Lamke Handcrafted also offers the convenience of delivery.  I am not vegan, but I swear these are the best donuts I’ve ever had! High caffeine and healthy sweets are the perfect way to start my Sunday morning in DTLA!
